Business Development Manager, Jakarta
Austrade is looking for an energetic, dynamic and highly skilled professional to join our office within the Australian Embassy in Jakarta.
Your key roles are to identify business opportunities, provide advice on market entry strategies and in-market support for Australian companies in Indonesia, and undertake market promotional activities, market research and analysis.
This position require a strong client focus in the delivery of services to Australian companies and in dealings with potential Indonesian business partners and government agencies.
The successful candidate will have a tertiary degree combined with a minimum 5 years’ marketing and promotional experience, and have well developed local business networks plus excellent research, analytical and communication skills. In particular, Industry knowledge in Infrastructure, building & construction sector would be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must be fluent in written and spoken English; and written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and willing to undergo a security clearance to the level of Overseas Engaged Employee - Entry Level as a condition of employment.
This is a locally-engaged position governed by Austrade’s Overseas Engaged Employees terms and conditions of employment and Indonesia labour law. Candidates must currently have the right to live and legally work in Indonesia. Austrade will not be able to provide any sponsorship letter nor be directly involved in the work visa application process.
